Jambalaya
4 oz. butter
10 oz. andouille sausage
10 oz. taso ham diced
1/2 cup diced onions
1/2 cup diced celery
1/2 cup diced red bell peppers
1 tsp. minced garlic
1 cup raw rice
5 fluid oz. tomato sauce
1/2 cup diced tomatoes
1/2 tsp. thyme
2 tsp. basil
1/2 tsp. cumin
Salt & pepper (to taste)
1lb 41-50 shrimp
Melt butter in pot and add taso ham, cook for 15 minutes, then add sausage and cook another 15 minutes. Add garlic and vegetables and cook for an additional 15 minutes. Add tomatoe products and mix well, then add rice and remaining ingredients and cook until rice is tender, stirring occasionally.
